The challenge
The challenge faced by "Saiko Sushi y Ceviche Gourmet" centered around commemorating their 10th-year anniversary through a logo rebranding initiative. The main goal was to create a logo encapsulating their main offerings—sushi and ceviche—while preserving the distinctive oriental aesthetic that has been integral to their brand identity.
The result
I led the comprehensive redesign of Saiko's logo, developing a customfont, particularly for the name "Saiko," in an oriental style. I added a sushi-inspired icon within the 'O,' emulating oriental calligraphy with brush strokes. Within the 'O,' I incorporated two graphics: a fish symbolizing ceviche and a shrimp representing sushi.
